Student Preceptorship Program

Preceptorship Definition at Riverview Medical Center:

Any college or technical college student that needs an upaid hospital and/or health care experience to complete their course requirements.  The preceptorship program does not apply to high school students  (CCHI and job shadow students).

Riverview Medical Center offers a student preceptorship program for both clinical and non-clinical students. The preceptorship program is a structured program that serves as a means of providing instruction, direction and/or guidance to an individual who is not employed at Riverview Medical Center.  A preceptorship is an opportunity that offers an individual the experience necessary to meet the requirements for course completion in a health care setting.
