Riverview Family Clinics provide care to all ages of patients.
The clinics specialize in treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, as
well as health promotion and disease prevention.
Preventive services include sports physicals, Department of Transportation
physicals, well child exams, immunizations, annual exams for women (pap,
pelvic, breast exams), annual exams for men (breast, testicular and rectal
exams), cholesterol evaluation and family planning.
Treatment is provided for routine illnesses including respiratory infections
(bronchitis, pharyngitis, otitis media, pneumonia, pleurisy/sinusitis),
gastroenteritis, gynecological infections, urinary tract infections,
allergic reactions and dermatitis.
Chronic illnesses treated at Riverview Family Clinic include hypertension,
COPD, diabetes, ulcer disease, irritable bowel and heart disease.
Surgery available through Riverview Family Clinic includes minor surgeries,
laceration repair, vasectomy and sigmoidoscopy.
The clinics also provide x-rays, electrocardiograms (EKGs), nebulizer
treatments, spirometry, and lab work including blood chemistry analysis,
hematology, urinalysis, serology and bacteriology.
